What sort of diary should I like mine to be?

What sort of diary should I like mine to be? Something loose-knit and yet not slovenly, so elastic that it will embrace anything, solemn, slight or beautiful, that comes into my mind. I should like it to resemble some deep old desk or capacious hold-all, in which one flings a mass of odds and ends without looking them through. I should like to come back, after a year or two, and find that the collection had sorted itself and refined itself and coalesced, as such deposits so mysteriously do, into a mould, transparent enough to reflect the light of our life, and yet steady, tranquil compounds with the aloofness of a work of art. The main requisite, I think, on reading my old volumes, is not to play the part of a censor, but to write as the mood comes or of anything whatever; since I was curious to find how I went for things put in haphazard, and found the significance to lie where I never saw it at the time.

Blessings!

It's been an adjustment getting used to having a mortgage... and I wanted the boys to have scriptures so badly. Yesterday at church, someone brought a whole box of scriptures.... enough for each little Tuivai ! And to buy these would have cost lots more than we can afford right now... This was such a welcome little gift and I could see how paying Tithing brings blessings!

Surprise in Sumas

We've been stopping at this park for Noah on the way to our home. The funny thing is--we just thought it was a field with a picnic table until we stopped there in the morning a couple days ago...

My Find

I went thrifting with my son because he has been very enthusiastic about it... and I found a pair of nice Mizuno's, just my size, brand new for $10.  I almost bought a pair for $140 earlier,  how is that for luck.  What was the coolest thing you've found while at a second hand store or garage sale?
P.S.  My next run is 20 minutes straight....tonight, I'll let you know how it goes.
